Student Health Center Immunizations
Fort Hays State University recommends, but does
not require that students show evidence of immunization against
certain contagious diseases. However, it is necessary that you be
immunized not only for your own health and safety, but for the health
and safety of those around you. Individuals not immunized are at
risk for exposure to disease, some of which can cause serious complications
for individuals not protected against them.

Immunizations required
for traveling outside the United States are done on a case-by-case
basis. Please contact the Student Health Center well in advance
of your travel dates to determine health information specific to
