Student Charges

There is a $20 charge to see Dr. Richards.

There is a $10 charge to see a nurse.

There is a $15 charge to see a nurse/nurse practitioner.

Physical examinations for jobs, school, etc. from $15-$50.

Acetomeniphen (Tylenol) and/or Ibuprofen will be dispensed at no charge. Prescription medications are available to students at our cost from $5-$75.

Oral contraceptives are available for $10 to $15 per cycle. Depo Provera injections are available for $55.00. Please contact a nurse at the Student Health Center for more information.

Pap smears MUST be scheduled. Complete pap smears include CV smear, urinalysis, hemoglobin, and Chlamydia/Gonorrhea. The cost is $75.

The Student Health Center offers a variety of lab tests at a much reduced cost.

Faculty/Staff Charges

The FHSU Student Health Center is financially supported by student fee money. Because of that, our focus is on the students of Fort Hays State University. We also see faculty, staff and spouses on a more limited basis, however, they are charged at a higher rate.

There is a $60 charge to see Dr. Richards.

There is a $20 charge to see a nurse.

There is a $30 charge to see a nurse. practitioner.

We do not provide contraceptives services for Faculty/Staff..
