I am very excited to be a member of the Student Government Association because I love being involved. I would much rather be organizing a movie night for everyone in the dorms than sitting in my room. I may not be from Kansas but I’m proud to call it home for the next five years or so. I am also involved with the 10% club, Tiger Wild, and other organizations on campus. As a senator I make it my personal responsibility to voice the opinions of my fellow peers and to help make FHSU an enjoyable place for everyone to get an education. On the student affairs committee I hope to create opportunities and events that will bring together the students, staff and community of FHSU. I will uphold the school’s constitution and protect the interests of it’s students. Although some may say that the SGA doesn’t have a large impact on what happens at the school it is my hope that any student would feel comfortable enough to contact me with any concerns or issues they feel are important.
