Do I need to take the GMAT before entering the MBA in Leadership program?
Yes. The Graduate Management Admissions Test is a computerized multiple-choice and essay exam that is a prerequisite for entry to top-rated MBA programs. The test is designed to measure basic mathematical, verbal, and analytical reasoning skills.

Submission of a GMAT score is required for the MBA in Leadership program. Under no conditions can the GMAT be waived.

Why do we require the GMAT?
We use your GMAT score as one piece of evidence of your current ability to deal with the courses and concepts in our program.

Studies by the Graduate Management Admission Council have found that the combination of GMAT score and GPA most accurately predicts the future success of MBA students.

When undergraduate grades are used alone, they are not very good predictors of MBA success. But, when GMAT scores are included in the evaluation process, the predictive ability almost doubles.

GMAT scores for MBA students at FHSU have averaged 467 over the last five years.

Where can I take the GMAT?
The GMAT CAT (Computer Adaptive Test) is offered six days a week, three weeks each month and is administered by Sylvan Learning & Technology Centers throughout the U.S. Special arrangements for taking the GMAT and payment of the registration fees are made directly with ETS Organization.
