Summer Programs for Sternberg Kids

Beat the summertime heat by joining the education staff at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History on select Thursday afternoons as we explore the critters that roam, crawl, or fly across the Kansas prairie. Programs will accommodate children ages 4-12. We are creating two age groups for each program so that each group receives information at an age-appropriate level. Therefore, we are offering two programs each select Thursday afternoon from 1-2pm and 3-4pm. The 1pm program is designed for kids age 4-7. Participants in the 1pm program must be accompanied by a responsible adult that will stay with the child during the program. The 3pm program is designed for kids age 8-12. Maximum class size is 30. The registration deadline for each program is the Monday prior to the program. Programs are free-of-charge (except for Monarch Madness, $5 per child, museum members free). Donations are greatly appreciated!

For registration and/or additional information, contact Brian Bartels at 628-5502, bcbartels@fhsu.edu
