FHSU Scatcat E-mail Account

Students enrolled at Fort Hays State University are automatically assigned a "Scatcat" e-mail account after their initial enrollment into the University. Before your account can receive mail, you must activate it.

The format for your Scatcat e-mail address is ID@scatcat.fhsu.edu where the ID is their first initial, middle initial, and the first 12 letters of their last name, followed by @scatcat.fhsu.edu (For example: abjones@scatcat.fhsu.edu). The Scatcat e-mail ID must be entered in lower case.

Advantages of using your Scatcat account:
• Scatcat accounts are automatically provided free to all currently enrolled FHSU students.
• Many instructors use Scatcat accounts to contact students regarding class assignments.
• Notices about FHSU student activities and CTC HelpDesk services are sent directly to Scatcat accounts.
• Space is provided to publish personal web pages.

If you wish to use another e-mail account, you can forward your Scatcat e-mail and receive these messages on your favorite e-mail system. Please refer to the Web site above for more information.
