Kansas History Day 2008

History Day is actually a yearlong learning opportunity for students in grades six through twelve. This nationwide history education program offers teachers practical models for integrating history standards in the classroom.

Sponsored by the Kansas Historical Society, History Day encourages students to study history and exercise their critical thinking skills. Thousands of Kansas students have participated in the local, state, and National History Day competitions.
