FHSU - Forsyth Library General Information

Forsyth Library has two (2) copiers for patron use.

Copiers are located on the main floor across from the Reserve Desk. One copier is coin-operated and one uses a University (Tiger) Card. Both copiers can be used with a by-pass code entered by Reserve/Reference staff and copies may then be paid for at the Reserve Desk.

Copies are $.05 each for white paper and $.10 for color paper.

Two (2) micro format copiers are located on the main floor near the center of the library. Copies are five ($0.05) cents per page.

Courtesy Rule

No tobacco (any form), is permitted in the library.

Absolutely NO food or drinks are allowed in the computer labs. Food and drinks (In covered containers) are permitted at study tables.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found is located at the Circulation/Reserve Desk (main floor of the library to the left as you walk in the main doors).

Messages

The Library staff does not page individuals over the public address system.

Restrooms

There are restrooms located on each floor of the library, all located in the northeast corner of the floor.

Telephone

A free campus phone is located on the opposite wall.

Book Drops

There are two (2) book drops located on the north exterior side of the Library between the main entrance doors. These book drops are available at all times.

There is one (1) book drop located at the Check-Out Desk in the lobby of the Library. It is available whenever the library is open.

There is one (1) book drop for InterLibrary Loan book returns RM 112. It is available whenever the library is open.

Patrons are responsible for material(s) left on the counters and not placed in the book drops.

The hours for other departments may vary. Please check with specific departments for their hours.

Patron Confidentiality

Library patron records are confidential. Library staff will not divulge to other people what patrons have checked out or who has a particular item checked out. This policy is in compliance with Kansas State Law. Library patron and circulation records pertaining to identifiable individuals are specifically exempted from confidential information.
