Action Projects
Every institution associated with AQIP
is asked to clarify certain major quality initiatives it declares
as being central to the success of its mission. Action projects
might include specific improvement projects that
drive an institution’s quality program. Action projects are
selected by an institution to promote learning and cultural
change and respond to problems, opportunities for improvement, or
challenges. Every AQIP institution reports to AQIP annually on the
progress or completion of its projects. Action projects are shared
via the AQIP website
to promote collaboration among AQIP institutions.
Fort Hays State University participated in the AQIP
Strategy Forum in February 2006. New AQIP Action Projects were established
based on strategic projects discussed at that time. They are reflected
in our 2007 Performance Agreement with KBOR and are listed below:
Retired AQIP Action Projects
Occasionally, action projects are retired.
When projects are accomplished, or when conditions that warranted
their consideration have changed, then it is customary that those
projects are no longer called "vital" to the success of
the mission, and are subsequently dropped. FHSU retired action projects
